Alexandra M. Smith is a civil defense litigator handling auto, transportation, and premises liability matters. Before joining Harman, Claytor, Corrigan & Wellman, Alexandra practiced at the Legal Aid Society of Roanoke Valley and Caskie & Frost, PC. She additionally served as Law Clerk to Hon. J. Frederick Watson and Hon. F. Patrick Yeatts at the Lynchburg Circuit Court. Alexandra received her Juris Doctorate from William & Mary Law School, her Bachelor’s degree from Bard College, and a Master’s degree from Central European University. Before law school, she worked in higher education, nonprofits, and restorative justice. Alexandra is based in Roanoke, Virginia and tries cases throughout the Commonwealth.
