Brian Touna is an attorney at Harman, Claytor, Corrigan & Wellman. He concentrates his practice on defending individual and institutional clients in complex civil litigation, medical malpractice, and general liability defense. Brian regularly handles matters involving significant financial, operational, and reputational risk, and he has successfully briefed, argued, and achieved complete dismissals of multimillion-dollar lawsuits in both Virginia state and federal court.

Brian emphasizes clear communication, creative problem-solving, and personal accountability in his practice. He ensures clients are kept informed of key developments and strategic considerations so they can make confident, well-informed decisions throughout the life of every case.

Brian double-majored in both Economics and Government with a minor in History from the University of Virginia in 2018 and earned his Juris Doctor from the William & Mary Law School in 2022. Brian served as the Senior Articles Editor for the William & Mary Business Law Review and as a student advocate for the William & Mary Immigration Clinic. He is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia and the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Virginia. He previously clerked for the Honorable John M. Tran of the Fairfax Circuit Court.

During his time as a law clerk, Brian experienced firsthand how lawyers can have an indelible impact not only on a case but also on the client’s life. Brian brings this understanding to his practice and focuses on handling every case with diligence and passion.

In his spare time, Brian enjoys playing with his puppy, exploring new restaurants with his wife, and trying to resuscitate his increasingly rusty golf game.
