Britton was born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.  Prior to joining Harman Claytor, Britton practiced at a Maryland law firm for several years representing financial institutions regarding collections and creditor’s rights issues.  Britton focuses his practice on general civil litigation and insurance defense.  He regularly defends individuals and corporations throughout Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia in general liability, transportation liability, premises liability and other civil litigation matters.  Britton is a managing partner of the firm’s DC Metro Office.
