A native New Yorker, Deborah spent her formative years in Baltimore.  Deborah has over 30 years of trial experience (250 juries/1500 bench trials) handling complex and high-profile cases to verdict.  As Assistant District Attorney in Philadelphia, Deborah served for many years in the challenging and elite Family Violence and Sexual Assault Unit as one of a handful of prosecutors responsible for rape and child abuse cases. Deborah was later transferred to another elite unit – Homicide.  When Deborah left the District Attorney’s Office in 2016, she chaired her law firm’s first Criminal Practice Group. She also handled wrongful death, sexual harassment, and employment discrimination litigation.  Following that experience, Deborah litigated personal injury cases for another boutique litigation firm in Philadelphia.  Deborah joined Harman Claytor in May 2023 and focuses her practice on the defense of complex civil litigation matters
