Imani is an attorney in Harman Claytor Corrigan & Wellman’s Richmond, Virginia office. She defends individuals and businesses in complex civil litigation matters including products liability, medical malpractice, commercial litigation, and general liability matters. Imani focuses on building strong defenses, and potential counter and third-party claims, from the early stages of a claim by conducting thorough pre-suit investigations, assessing potential exposure, and developing case strategies. Since joining Harman Claytor, Imani has gained trial experience, having successfully tried cases to verdict.

In addition to her practice, Imani is a member of several state and local bar associations. She has served as the Vice Chair and Chair of the Product Liability & Toxic Torts Section of the Virginia Association of Defense Attorneys. Imani has been consistently recognized as a Rising Start for Virginia Business Legal Elite and Virginia Super Lawyers.

Imani earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Virginia Tech in 2017 and her Juris Doctor from the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law in 2020. She is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia, the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Western District of Virginia, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.

Outside of the office, Imani enjoys spending time with her family and being active. A former American record holding power lifter, Imani spends a significant amount of time strength training when she is not working.
