Matt is originally from North Carolina, but has lived in Virginia since 2008.  He completed his clerkship in the Alexandria Circuit Court and previously practiced at a firm in Richmond representing Virginia school boards. Matt’s practice at Harman Claytor will focus on defending local governmental entities and school boards in matters related to state and federal constitutional claims, statutory discrimination claims, employment claims, and tort claims, including defamation and negligence.
