Yevgeniy (“Yev”) Klinovskiy joined Harman Claytor Corrigan & Wellman in October 2023, bringing experience in complex civil litigation with a focus on premises and products liability defense. Prior to joining the firm, Yev practiced at a mid-sized Richmond firm, where he represented businesses and insurers in a wide range of liability matters.

Originally from Boryspil, Ukraine, and raised in Providence, Rhode Island, Yev brings a global perspective and disciplined approach to his litigation practice. He focuses on defending clients in medical malpractice, professional liability, transportation, and general liability matters, guiding them through each stage of litigation with careful attention to strategy, exposure, and efficient resolution.

Yev earned his Juris Doctor from Washington and Lee University School of Law, where he concentrated on complex civil litigation. His academic experience provided a strong foundation in legal analysis and advocacy, which continues to inform his practical, detail-oriented approach to defending clients.

Yev is a published author in the Virginia Association of Defense Attorneys’ Journal of Civil Litigation, where he has contributed scholarship on issues relevant to the defense bar. He is also fluent in Russian and proficient in Ukrainian.
