Stan Wellman Inducted as Fellow of the Virginia Law Foundation
Harman Claytor Corrigan & Wellman congratulates Stan Wellman on his induction as a Fellow of the Virginia Law Foundation.
The Virginia Law Foundation was founded in 1974 to advance the science of jurisprudence and to improve and promote the administration of justice. The VLF provides an opportunity for attorneys and their families, law firms and corporations to participate in its efforts to ensure access to justice to those who are most in need, seek improvements in the judicial process, involve law students in public service, and promote education of the public about the law and the legal process. The major function of the VLF is to provide grants that promote the rule of law, access to justice and law related education.
In 1983 the VLF created the Fellows of the Virginia Law Foundation to encourage and recognize excellence in the practice of law and public service. Fellows are persons of integrity and character who have maintained the highest standards of the profession and are outstanding members of their communities. Induction ceremonies are held at the annual meeting of the Virginia Bar Association. Stan was inducted on January 23, 2014 at the Williamsburg Lodge.
Congratulations to Stan, and his fellow inductees, on receiving such a prestigious honor.
