Attorney Spotlight – Dannel Duddy

Harman Claytor Corrigan & Wellman’s Attorney Spotlight for October is Dannel C. Duddy. Dannel has been practicing law for 18 years, 13 of which have been at Harman Claytor. Dannel’s practice includes construction, products liability, commercial disputes, and general liability matters.

1. Where are you from originally? — Emerald Isle, NC.
2. What is at the top of your bucket list? — Bareboat chartering a sailboat and cruising the Caribbean.
3. Do you have a motto or personal mantra? — Festina lente – make haste slowly.
4. Do you have any pets? — One dog that the kids named after Ruth Bader Ginsburg. I like to call her Woof Biter Ginsburg.
5. What is your biggest pet peeve? — Being late to a meeting – you’re wasting someone else’s time.
6. If you were stuck on an island, what three things would you bring? — Music, a book, and a bottle of rum. And who said I’m stuck? Sounds perfect to me.
7. What do you enjoy doing outside of work? — Reading history books, especially about periods/areas that aren’t regularly written about.
