Sarah, a Virginia native, began her legal career at Harman Claytor after graduating from the University of Richmond School of Law in 2018.  She has experience litigating a variety of civil cases in Virginia’s state and federal courts.  She primarily focuses her practice on defending local governmental entities and their employees from claims asserting constitutional violations or other violations of federal law. Sarah also defends claims involving defamation, malicious prosecution, intentional torts, and negligence.  Her experience spans all phases of litigation, from discovery management in complex, document heavy cases to arguing dispositive motions and trying cases to jury verdict.  She also has experience representing clients in various forms of alternative dispute resolution.
